How you opt in to GiftMemory texts
GiftMemory only ever texts someone after they confirm it themselves.
GiftMemory helps people create a memory book for someone they love and invite friends and family they personally know to contribute a message or photo. GiftMemory is the business that sends these texts and that the recipient recognizes as the sender.
GiftMemory is the consumer-facing brand of GIFT MEMORY, our legal business name as registered with the IRS. They are the same business.
Two-step opt-in
- Consent is requested. When an account holder adds a contributor by phone, GiftMemory sends that person a single text that only asks permission — it contains no invitation, no link, and no other content.
- The recipient opts in. Only if they reply YES do we send their private contribution link, plus at most 3 reminder texts about that same invitation — and nothing else. They can reply STOP at any time to opt out.
